INPUT / PCD
The
Compliance Department works exclusively with listing
issues such as listing inputs, changes, searches,
projected closing dates (PCD), listing withdrawals
and transfers, duplicate listings, listing remarks
and “how to do” questions.
If you
need assistance with questions regarding GAMLS
Rules and Regulations and Policy Procedures, or
complaints concerning a member of GAMLS not following
policy and procedures, the Compliance Department
is there to help answer your questions.
If you
fax information to GAMLS (withdrawals, transfers,
etc.), please do not mail the original information.
We do not need the original signatures. The faxed
copies are acceptable.
Please
do not send checks to GAMLS for withdrawals. GAMLS
will withdraw the property when the withdrawal
form is received and will bill your office. If
you send a check made payable to GAMLS, the check
will be returned to your office.
You
cannot show in remarks: Do not show,
off market, withdrawn,
not available, etc. Your office
will be fined $25.00 plus $5.00 a day until the
remarks are changed or the property is withdrawn.
When
a listing is transferred to another GAMLS company,
we will transfer the listing from the original
company to the new company when we receive the
Listing Change Sheet for All Properties with the
Transfer section completed and signed by the releasing
broker. If the new company wants to enter the
listing into the GAMLS system as a new listing,
the transfer sheet must be marked that the new
company is entering as a new listing. GAMLS will
withdraw the old listing with no fee. It is the
responsibility of the new company to make sure
the previous company has released that listing
before it is entered into the GAMLS system.
Reminder: It is against GAMLS policy
to solicit property that is listed with another
GAMLS company.
All status changes on listings (under
contract, sold, etc) must be made no later than
24 hours (excepting weekends and holidays) after
the change is agreed to by the broker and seller.
When trying to make changes to a listing
and the system says, “listing cannot be
found”, click the binoculars next to the
GAMLS number and an address box will appear. Type
the property address in the blanks and it will
pull the listing up for viewing, click on the
GAMLS number and you will be returned to the “Update”
screen, click “Form” box and it will
pull up the listing for changes.
